今日は本を買はずに帰って来たので、四月の購入数としては、和書が12冊、洋書が１冊。ここ十年でいちばん少ないのではないか。何があったのか……

少し間が空いてしまったのは、胃の痛みで日曜日を寝て過ごしたから。やっと恢復した金曜の夕方である。
先週の土曜日には、ＳＦファン交流会といふところで《マニュエル伝》に関する話をした。『土のひとがた』を訳した安野玲さんと一緒に。そして、昨日はNHK文化センター青山で「英米幻想小説への招待」といふタイトルの話をしたのだった。生意気にも。疲れました。

高島雄哉『エンタングル：ガール』（創元ＳＦ文庫）ご恵贈賜りました。「これは『ゼーガペイン』をまったく知らなくても、名前すら聞いたことがなくても大丈夫なんですか」とTwitterで訊いたら著者がOKですと教へてくださったので早速読んだ。主人公了子の映画作りを軸にした高校でのひと夏の出会ひと冒険から次第に世界の構造が明らかにされていく。最後の場面では泣きさうになった。確かに『ゼーガペイン』を知らなくても大丈夫だった。
